User Experience Design Project (Google Career Certificates)

This project is an app for BeerGarden, a local beer garden located in the metropolitan area of San Juan, Puerto Rico. BeerGarden's mission is to quickly provide great beers in a friendly casual atmosphere. For this project, I developed personas, user stories, and user journey maps, conducted usability studies, created wireframes and prototypes using Figma, and tested and iterated designs. Elements and principles of design are present in this project for example the use of a consistent color palette and a hierarchy that helps the user find what they are looking for. While designing this project, I used techniques such as the “Crazy 8’s” to quickly sketch ideas and create multiple solutions for my design challenge. While completing this project, feedback was sparse, but after doing research, I was able to adjust elements such as the color palette. The final design is a complete prototype of the application.
